I am a character and asset modeller for an indie game development project with CaveBear games. I undertook this voluntary role with vigor due to my passion for game development and I enjoy creating new aspects to this project on a daily basis.
Prior to this role, I recently graduated with a Masters of distinction in 3D Computer Animation and Design from Bournemouth University. I am a 3D modeller and texture artist working in both organics and hard surface modelling.
In my own work I have a passion for creating strange creatures and other worlds. I am actually obessed with this and will often daydream about new concepts and how I can incorporate them into an 'invented' environment. In my spare time you can often find me tinkering away in ZBrush or doodling in my sketchbook working on my own bizarre projects.
I have completed three small game projects in two different engines (Unity and Unreal,) and each project varied in team size. I work strongly within teams where I can contribute ideas and give/take criticism to help the progress of the project. In my own work I enjoy building models with the purpose of game implementation, therefore many of my own models have been retopologized, mapped and imported into Unreal simply to practice and improve my own skill-set within the game modelling pipeline.
Having worked a few years in administrative roles, I have key experience in being able to work to tight schedules, as well as completing a project efficiently and on time. I have a very positive attitude towards work and I will often been seen to influence and inspire others. I am always eager for a challenge and I have often placed myself purposely in situations to meet them.
Thus far my life has been filled with adventures and experiences. I was born and bred close to Manchester, UK but I have travelled and lived in a few places around the globe such as Cuenca, Spain and Vancouver, Canada. I love exploring and my other passions are hiking and running.
