BEFES was inspired by the artwork of Mike Mignola and plays as a 2.5D interactive platformer.
The setting is based in a 1950's abandoned facility where scientist experimented with gene splicing between humans and demons to create living weapons. The site has since been abandoned, but remains of the project still lie untouched.
Confused and cold, the protagonist awakens from a vat and is beckoned forwards by a mysterious voice.
Completed as part of the group project at Bournemouth University. A team of 5 people had 7 weeks to concept and create a mini game.
My main role within the project was to concept and build the demon model, and to assist in creating the environment. For the character design it was important to remember Mignola's style of working, so features such as sloping shoulders were important.
I also helped complete the medical room, as well as addition assets throughout the game, such as the elevator.
